WALKING GROUP
Dear Members,
The walk is on Friday 5th July at Rouse Hill.
Please meet at the park adjacent to the Local Shed Café Belcast Rd. This is the first turn left off Sanctuary Drive, Rouse Hill if approaching from Windsor Road.
The walk will start at 10am and will take approximately 1 hour. It is on a paved path.
The Local Shed has great coffee so you may like to grab a coffee before or after.
PROBUS WALK ON WEDNESDAY 3RD APRIL.
Our next walk will be on Wednesday 3rd April...just after Easter. This will be held at Parramatta LAKE.

Just a reminder that walking will resume at Bernie Mullane on the 6th March. We will meet at the car park at 10am for a 10.15start.
Looking forward to seeing you there. Everyone is welcome.
For all those people who came on the Parramatta Lakes walk and I got lost…I will bring the map.

September 21:
The sky was blue, the temperature perfect for the 16 walkers enjoying the scent of the wisteria and spring flowers in full bloom in the gardens of Cumberland Hospital.
We were in luck. The entire hospital grounds were open to the public, so we followed the light rail tracks across the river and around to the Female factory precinct for refreshments at the Haverstone Café located within one of the beautifully restored sandstone buildings. Afterwards we wandered around the historic precinct where restoration to ancient stonework was still in progress before retracing our steps back to wisteria gardens where we had spied a water dragon and mother duck with her fluffy babies.

Evelyn will be leading the walk around the Japanese Gardens at Auburn. Perhaps lunch afterwards at one of the many Turkish & Persian cafes and restaurants in Auburn township?

Our first walk for 2023 was in March from Watson’s Bay wharf to South Head Lighthouse and lunch followed back near the wharf.
There will be day walks every month through to October with locations selected for senior walkers. We avoid the hotter months of the year.
